Having taken a personal interest and studied in various modes of healing for many years, this has led me to become qualified in a range of both spiritual and holistic treatments.
Being a mother of two myself and also a mother to a child with Autism I have on many occassions called upon my holistic and spiritual knowledge to get me and my children through the many challenges that life throws up to us. As a qualified Teachers Assistant I am experienced in communicating with children at varying levels and of differing educational needs.
I have found that children are extremely receptive to holistic therapies and are more open to trying the techniques that I offer as they have not had enough years in their life to be tainted by the negativity and sceptesism that exist in our adult world.
This has led me to set up the Little Angel’s Healing Academy to offer you and your children the techniques and guidance required to provide comfort and direction to those little challenges that will come up and do come up in the life as a parent and as a child.
I have found, that we are living in an age where there is an increase in the amount of children suffering from stress, behaviour problems, anxiety and confidence issues.
Even very young children have worries and feel stress to some degree. In pre-schoolers, separation from parents can cause anxiety. As children get older, academic and social pressures (especially the quest to fit in) can create stress.
Many children are too busy to have time to play creatively or to relax after school. Stress is a function of the demands placed on us and our ability to meet them. For children, pressures often come from outside sources (such as family, friends, or school), but they can also come from within.
As a parent, we not only feel the pressure from our own life schedule, but also from the resposnisibility of being a parent and attempting to shoulder (as each and every parent would do) the stress and pressure that our little ones may be incurring. This leads to a significant pressure that we place upon ourselves because there is often a discrepancy between what we think we ought to be doing and what we are actually doing in our parental role.
What I offer to you is a reality check of the actual situation that you and your child are in and to identify a joint approach to addressing any issues that may be present.
Your child will feel empowered by the ability to overcome their issue.
Together as parent and child you will share understanding, confidence and foresight.
You will grow together, believe together and ultimately love together.
